As a long-time software developer and IT leader with a finance background, I’ve spent years building systems, automating tasks, and making sense of business data. But when it comes to AI agents—like Copilot and the tools in Microsoft’s ecosystem—I’m still on the journey. I’m testing, building, and learning what actually works to solve business problems, not just what looks cool in a demo.

I’ve dived into Copilot Studio, played with building agents using Semantic Kernel, and spent hours reading docs and running proofs of concept. But I’ll be honest: I’m still looking for that breakthrough project that really moves the needle for the business. Some experiments work well in a test environment, but turning them into something that delivers real business impact—that’s the challenge.
